The LOULOU Bag is an innovative expression of traditional craftsmanship interpreted through next-generation materials. Its gently curved half-moon silhouette remains defined by a structured, form-giving rim, contrasted with soft, fluid sides. The result is a dialogue of sculptural geometry and subtle movement.

In this new edition, LOULOU is crafted from INNOVERA™ – a next-generation plant-protein suede innovation with elevated strength and luxurious tactility. INNOVERA™ is lighter in weight, yet more resilient, bringing a future-oriented expression to one of our most iconic shapes.

The custom designed 18ct gold-plated brass buckle, handmade by a German master goldsmith near Pforzheim, continues to underline our commitment to excellence. When we say handcrafted, we mean one person at a table, not a line. Using traditional tools and years of experience in crafting long-lasting leather goods.

The LOULOU bag embraces a fusion between bold geometric lines and the softness of natural, bio-based materials. Its architectural silhouette reflects an effortless harmony between refined structure and meticulous craftsmanship. The intentional design, with its shaping frame and supple sides, creates a striking aesthetic that is both understated and compelling.

Masters of Craft

The LOULOU Bag is designed and meticulously handcrafted in MELINA BUCHER's own atelier in Germany. The custom designed 18ct gold-plated brass buckle is handcrafted by a German master goldsmith near the gold city Pforzheim. Our LOULOU bag thereby combines two century old crafts into a truly luxurious item.
