Phoenix

Phoenix translates one of the defining symbols from Penn Cole’s Kindred’s Curse Saga into a sculptural bag charm. Created as part of the officially licensed MELINA BUCHER × Penn Cole collaboration, its layered silhouette reflects the fire, resilience and endurance at the heart of the story.

Within the saga, the phoenix represents more than rebirth. It stands for survival: the ability to keep going when the world burns down around you, while preserving the identity that remains beneath the destruction.

The motif also echoes the phoenix pendant Luther gives to Diem, a recurring symbol of their connection and shared resilience. Here, the phoenix is translated from jewellery and story into a tactile object designed to be carried.

The charm combines contrasting vegan surfaces, including a soft suede-like material and a coated finish. Layered elements in deep red, orange and dark tones create the plumage, while hand-stitched details define the graphic silhouette.

A long hanging loop allows the Phoenix to be attached to a handbag or carried as an accessory. Its elongated form gives the charm movement while retaining the distinctive shape of the bird.

Handmade in our German atelier, Phoenix combines officially licensed storytelling, detailed craftsmanship and contrasting vegan materials.
