A design from a galaxy far, far away. This sculptural handbag explores movement and transformation through a design that shifts with every angle. The world's first bag made from ELEVATE, a 100% biobased material innovation made from grain protein. Inspired by the dynamic silhouettes of futuristic architecture and aerospace aesthetics, its form changes with every perspective. The ultra-reflective holographic finish exclusively available at MELINA BUCHER intensifies its dimensionality, making it feel alive in your hand. Sustainably handcrafted in our atelier in Germany in a limited edition.

Our items are designed to last for years. Every material undergoes rigorous abrasion, flexing, and UV-resistance testing that meets or exceeds standards applied to traditional leather goods. Every piece is handcrafted with reinforced seams, edge finishing, and quality hardware.

Most vegan leather on the market is PU- or PVC-based plastic. We refuse both. Our materials are bio-based to the greatest extent possible, some even 100 % plastic-free. Recognised by the German Sustainability Award, the German Design Award, and PETA.

Is your packaging sustainable?

Our packaging is 100 % plastic-free and vegan. Each bag ships in a reusable dust bag made from organic cotton, inside a recycled and recyclable box.
